Annunciation Orthodox School

Mission Statement and General Goals

We are Christian Orthodox Schools affiliated to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut. Our mission is to serve the members of the surrounding communities in particular, and the nation in general, to whichever social stratum they belong and without discrimination, in the fields of education and teaching, and that to build the personality of a human being who believes in God, who belongs to the nation, who is active (is a catalyst) in society and who is qualified to attain university academic level.

Accordingly, our schools constitute a space for knowledge acquisition in a climate of freedom that allows teacher and learner to explore their potential, their relationship with God, and each other’s dynamics..

Our mission is not limited to the simple ”transmission of knowledge”; rather we look to achieving transformations within the inner self of the person and through that, within the community in the future.

AOS will have an everlasting impact on my life. I made friends that will last forever, and memories that I will never forget. Absolutely wonderful environment throughout my eleven years at the school, and the teachers have all individually left lasting impacts on me. Thank you AOS for all of your incredible staff and community members who have helped continue to carry on this school's incredible legacy!

Love this school! Couldn't be happier with our child being enrolled here. The community is so engaging and the warmth of the school undeniable.

AOS is an amazing place! Warm teachers, administrators, and parent community. Challenging academics and faculty that are interested in capturing the hearts of young children to create a love of learning from early childhood. My young children (age 3.5 and 5) are exposed to a variety of Fine Arts, Athletics, Language, and other enrichment activities and we could not be more excited to see them grow into the mature, intelligent, and kind middle school children they have as role models at AOS!
